🍕 & 🍺…yummy 😋 Ever wonder why some people seem to be able to eat more or whatever they want, and not have a weight gain problem. This used to puzzle me as well, until I gained a better understanding of how metabolism works.

#50isthenew30 Last night’s dinner: turkey sliders with havarti & pepper jack topped with avocado 🥑 on a bed of veggies. 

Another nutrient dense, satiating, high protein & delicious meal prepared by @louminati_lau 😍. 

I’m in the final week o Last nightst well earned dinner. Spent hours on the property working on spots for new avocado trees and clearing a bunch of overgrown elephant grass. Hard work in the hot island sun. Needless to say I was famished when it came time to dinner. And, I So one my tricks to maintaining a calorie deficit without having to count calories or weigh food is to eat the same foods, day in day out. 

This has been my breakfast for the last 6 weeks: low fat turkey, eggs whites, feta cheese and avocado 🥑 with Saturday date night with @louminati_lau 😍. Enjoyed this chicken breast sandwich with roasted peppers, provolone, avocado & veggies on a ciabatta roll with island coleslaw 🤤. Accompanied by gin on the rocks with a splash of lilikoi juice… One of my favorite things in the whole world is coffee ☕️. I was born in Colombia 🇨🇴 , (big coffee producer) and have been enjoying the tasty beverage since I was a little kid. 

We recently moved to the Big Island of Hawaii, and imagine my delight Wazzup IG friends! So, I’m on the tail end of an 8 week calorie deficit during which time I’ve dropped my body fat from around 12% to 6%-8%.
